Lindsey Vonn Career
By the age of seven, Lindsey had already skied year-round in Colorado, Minnesota, and Oregon. She took skiing instruction at the “Ski Club Vail” (SCV), an alpine racing program that trains young and aspiring skiers aged 6 and up in Colorado for numerous years.
In 1995, when she was 10 years old, she met Olympic ski racer Picabo Street during a promotional event.
In 1997, when Lindsey was in sixth grade, her family chose to permanently relocate to Vail, Colorado. Her siblings also soon relocated.
