Jordan was twice named to the all-state team. At Christian Life Center, where he played in his senior year, he set a school record and set a career-high with 37 points in a single game.

Jordan was a student at Episcopal High School through his junior year. Jordan had an average of 15.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks in his sophomore year and 16.5 points 14.0 rebounds, as well as 7.0 blocks in his junior year. 

Jordan was a transfer from Christian Life Center Academy for his senior year, and Jordan scored 26.1 points 15.2 many rebounds, and 8.1 blocks each game.

Billy Gillispie, the head coach of the Aggies’ basketball team, left Texas A&M University in College Station before Jordan came to take the helm at Kentucky. Jordan decided to keep his word to the university.

Jordan played his freshman year at Texas A&M, starting 21 of 35 games. in 20 minutes and 1.3 blocks per game, on average.

During those games, he had a team-best field goal percentage of 61.7 percent but a team-worst free throw percentage of 43.7 percent.

Most of his field goals, however, were within a few feet of the basket. He averaged 7.9 points and 6.0 rebounds for the entire season.
